About the Fisherman's Wife: Stephanie Villani, aka The Fisherman’s Wife, has sold us fish at the Union Square market for some time now and is always there to tolerate questions about what’s swimming where and when. She just wrote a book with Kevin Bay full of stories about fishing and of unusual ways to cook uncommon Long Island fish (my favorite!) We got to talking and decided it’d be great fun to do a dinner in celebration of the book, of Long Island Sound’s less-appreciated fish and of course, of eating and cooking the bounty of our backyard in Long island. We can't wait for this meal.
