New Year's Brunch--North Fork, 12/31
New Year's Brunch--North Fork, 12/31
This New Year’s eve doesn’t quite feel like one for the confetti, rattlers, and kazoos. My plan is to have a single bourbon or maybe even chamomile tea, give my people a heartfelt kiss, put 2020 to bed as early as I can, and wake up to a healthy meal and a brighter year. My bet is many of you might like to do the same, so this week I designed the meal kit to be eaten on New Year’s Day. Call it what you will—breakfast, brunch, lunch.—it’s nourishing and delicious and will likely satisfy the range of appetites in your house. Onward!
Order for two or four (or more). Each kit includes:
Our Granola, labneh, dates and dried apricots, honey
Avocado Toast, (it’s also secretly a salad thanks to Windfall Farm's’ gorgeous greens), mixed toasted seeds, chili oil, fresh-picked herbs
House-Smoked Steelhead Rillettes, our seedy, toasty gluten-free crackers—relatives of a Swedish cracker called knackebrod
Baked Egg Tagine, romesco-ish sauce, mushrooms
Lentil Salad
Cesare Casella Prosciutto
Add Mimosas, Bloody Marys (with or without the sauce), and Tahini Coffee Cake separately.
Pick up in Orient Village, at 695 Navy Street, on the afternoon of December 31.
Add on our Holiday Hors D’Oeuvres Platter. Just because you aren’t party-hopping this year, doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the snacks!
